NWH Leads the Way on Gender Parity This International Women’s Day

At North Wales Housing, we marked International Women’s Day by celebrating the incredible women who are making a real difference in social housing across our organisation.

We’re proud to be leading the way in female representation, having already achieved gender parity and balance within our senior management team — a milestone many organisations are still working towards.

Did you know?

  • 7 out of our 8 Senior Leadership Team members are women
  • Our CEO is female
  • Our Chair of the Board is also female

While these accomplishments are a step in the right direction, we know there’s still work to do to #AccelerateAction. According to research, it will take until 2053 to achieve gender balance at senior management levels at the current rate of progress and figures showing the gender pay gap in Wales increased by 0.4% while the UK-wide figure decreased by 0.6%.
