Board Update – January 2025
Happy New Year!
We had our first Board meeting of 2025 on January 23rd. Here’s what we talked about:
1. Board Review: We looked at how well the board is working. There were lots of good things, but we also found ways to get better. 2. New Homes: We talked about new homes we want to build. We made sure our plans are up-to-date and realistic. 3. Future Plans: We planned for the next 30 years. We thought about what might go wrong and how to fix it. 4. Listening to You: We want to hear from you! We talked about how residents can join the board and help make decisions. 5. Goals for 2025/26: We set our goals and targets for the next year. 6. New Homes in Llay: We are happy to buy 39 new homes in Llay, Wrexham. 7. Reports: We checked our performance and safety reports. We also talked about our budget and a successful project called Prosiect Gwella (this is about our new systems that are coming soon that you will hear much more about in the coming weeks, but basically it’s our computer programs which helps NHW take care of all the homes and people living in them).
