New Resident Participation Strategy published
Inform. Involve. Inspire.
That’s our ambition in our #50th year with our new Resident Participation Strategy, which we’ve published today.
Approved by our residents across North Wales, it sets out the importance of resident participation in the decision-making process and in influencing decisions about housing.
We aim to improve our services and make sure we improve satisfaction. It’s a two-way process and we believe it’s essential that residents are involved.
We are so proud that our new Resident Participation Strategy is also ‘Resident Approved’.
A huge thanks must go to all residents and staff who took the time to talk and engage with us about what it is they would like to see. We also asked our Residents Forum about what we currently do and how we can improve.
Other residents completed a survey, which was shared on our social media channels, our website, and via text message. We also engaged with residents at one of the many events we hold and attend.
Our residents told us, as part of our newly launched Resident Participation Strategy, they want:
- North Wales Housing to be more visible
- Residents to be kept informed
- Residents to be updated
Our Chief Executive Helena Kirk sets out her vision in the new Resident Participation Strategy for involvement and is encouraging all of our residents to Get Involved.
You can read our aims and commitments and how to get involved here: Resident Participation Strategy – North Wales Housing (nwha.org.uk).
Please note we are having some technical issues with our website over the last few days, particularly with our Welsh language website. So, the Cymraeg version of the Strategy has yet to be uploaded successfully. Once it has, we will share with all staff and publicise externally. We apologise for the delay, but unfortunately the circumstances are beyond our control
